Yes, you probably could in a pinch. But I just use plain coconut oil on my eyes since there is no essential oil in there. Works great!

That’s a good question… maybe honey or jojoba oil? It would change the texture a lot though, so then you’d need to alter the other ingredient amounts. Let me know if you find one, and I’ll add it to my article! 🙂

I like your recipe, but any thoughts on alternatives to coconut oil? I know a lot of people love it, but unfortunately it causes my skin to break out. I wonder if honey would work instead.

That would be great with lavender and frankincense! That’s one thing I love about using essential oils… you can make it in a variety of ways with what you have on hand, what scents you like, etc! It’s so much fun! Also glad you enjoyed the video. I’m new to making them and don’t love it yet. I’ll get more used to it with time, right? 🙂

Hi. You’re very welcome! I have never had an issue with baking soda, but that’s totally your call! Maybe you could just try one little bit on the back of your neck with some coconut oil and see how it goes??? And you can omit the baking soda as well.
