I was told never to put softwood branches in the bird&#039;s cage. Hardwood only and even then check to see if it was safe. Cedar is not for birds so I imagine the oil wouldn&#039;t be good for them either.]]></description>

I have saved this equine image to my board and have received a lot of questions as to why peppermint is listed as &quot;not to give&quot; to horses. This is one of the flavors used in many foods as well. 
Can you tell me why it is on the &quot;do not feed&quot; list?
